Bond Cleaning Service Policy

1. Quotes
All quotes are estimates based on the information provided by the client. The final price may vary if the actual condition of the property differs from what was described.

2. Property Condition Disclosure
Clients must accurately disclose the condition of the property prior to the service, including any stains, mould, grease buildup, pet-related marks, or excessive dirt.

3. Vacant Property Requirement
Bond cleaning services are designed for vacant properties. The property should be completely empty, without furniture or personal belongings, unless otherwise previously agreed.

4. Cleaning Expectations
The purpose of bond cleaning is to return the property to a professionally cleaned condition. However, cleaning cannot restore surfaces to brand-new condition. This is particularly relevant for older ovens with permanent grease stains and shower glass affected by soap scum buildup.

5. Re-clean Policy (72 Hours)
If the real estate agent or property owner identifies any cleaning-related issues, clear photos must be provided and our team must be given the opportunity to return and address the matter within 72 business hours.

6. Re-clean Conditions
For the re-clean policy to apply, the property must remain vacant and in the same condition as it was after the initial cleaning service.

7. Carpet Cleaning
Carpet cleaning results depend on the age and condition of the carpet. Some stains may be permanent or impossible to remove. This will be communicated to the client during the service if applicable.

8. Utilities and Access
The property must have electricity, running water, and safe access at the time of the service. If access or utilities are not available, the service may not be able to be completed.

9. Payment Terms
Payment must be made upon completion of the service according to the agreed terms. Failure to complete payment may result in the suspension of services and potential debt recovery procedures.

10. Cancellations
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may incur a cancellation fee due to reserved scheduling.

11. Liability
Saltwater Cleaning is not responsible for pre-existing damage, permanent stains, worn surfaces, or structural issues within the property.

12. Price Adjustments
If the condition of the property is significantly worse than described at the time of booking, additional charges may apply to cover the extra time and work required.

13. Opportunity to Rectify
Saltwater Cleaning must be given the opportunity to rectify any cleaning-related issues before the client arranges alternative cleaning services or performs the work themselves. This opportunity must be provided within 72 hours, which is standard practice for bond cleaning services once the property has been inspected by the owner or real estate agent.

14. Bond Return Disclaimer
The return of the rental bond is determined by the real estate agent or property owner and is not solely dependent on the cleaning service provided. Payment for the cleaning service remains due regardless of the bond outcome.

15. Deposit
Bond cleaning bookings may require a deposit in order to secure the service date.
